We've officially got power back on! thank you to everybody who helped out. (original post) Hey everyone , apologies for dropping this out of nowhere, but it’s something a bit important. I’m in a really rough spot right now, to put it simply. I’m still out of a job, and because of my dad having a two week lapse between his previous one and one he just started this week, we’re completely out of money right now. More pressingly, our power was shut off on Tuesday, and we can’t afford to pay the bill until dad’s first check comes in, which won’t be for another couple of weeks at least. To make a long story short; we have no electricity in the house and no way to get it turned back on anytime soon. We could really use some help, so I’m opening donations again. According to dad, the bill is going to be somewhere in the ballpark of $400 after reconnect fees. Hey everyone. I don't normally talk about my personal life on here, but with the circumstances as they are, things aren't exactly normal in my life. To make a long story short, I've been out of a job since the end of February, and despite applying to as many different ones as I've been able to since then, I've yet to find employment again. I've only managed to get two interviews in that time, and neither have gone anywhere. On top of this, a couple of weeks ago, my family and I lost my mother in the middle of the night. As you can imagine this came as a shock to all of us, and as a result things have been incredibly busy and incredibly hectic in our lives dealing with this sudden and drastic change. In the time since, a lot of my friends have come through to show support for us, and for that I've been incredibly grateful. That being said, what money they've donated has mostly gone towards bills and helping with groceries and the like. It's to the point where I've run low on
